On this stage in Madrid, located in an XVIII century palace on Torija Street, the soul of flamenco, that special feeling that sends chills through you, resides. Many famous artists have performed here and the aroma, the character, and the charm they exuded still lingers: La Chunga with her bare feet; the elegance of Manuel de los Santos, El Agujeta; and Aurora, who with her rhythmic Flamenco clapping, awoke the passion of Enrique Morente. Here, also, Serranito stepped forward to emphasize the guitar as an instrument to be listened to and a young Jose Merce began his career. He still comes in, when he can get away from his busy schedule, to share in the flamenco ambiance, sheltered by the shawls that still adorn the stage as if they were drying under the Malaga sun. Many performers have left their mark on this stage and the tradition lives on its boards. The traditional flamenco troupe is comprised of 9 artists: dancers, guitarists and singers. The Verdasco family has managed to combine a great show with the flavors of traditional cuisine, keeping the doors open to both local and international fans who wish to feel the history of flamenco for a night. And recently Spanish Federation of Hospitality has given us "NATIONAL AWARDS OF HOSPITALITY" - FEHR in its sixth year, in the category "Outstanding hospitality company in the promotion of culture." We can not forget some famous people who have passed through our tables, the King and Queen of Spain, Don Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia, Prince Charles and Lady Di, Hussein of Jordan, a show worthy of kings, who have not wanted to lose other famous people of our time as Cristiano Ronaldo, David Beckham, Pepe, Rafael Nadal and many famous actors and do not want to lose the best flamenco in town.
